Review: Make-up Academy (MUA) Lip Boom

Hey Guys,

Next review up my sleeve is the new (ish) MUA Lip Boom.

I only managed to get 2 of these last month as when they came out they sold out quite quick which  really doesn't surprise me because MUA are HOT!!

The first one I managed to get my hands on was OMG!

And this is what it looks like on me:

I'm not too sure the shade is for me because it comes out a bit orangey I guess but overall the matte lipstick itself is really easy to apply and goes on smoothly. There is another part to this Lip Boom which is a lipgloss. I only applied it for the pic as I'm not too keen on the gloss itself. It's a tad bit too glittery for my liking but each to their own. But I think if it was my shade than I would wear it all the time as the wear lasts a while.

The other shade I managed to get my hands on was Cheeky!

                                                    

I would say this is my favourite one as it's the perfect shade and baby pink seems to be in the thing at the moment. Again I'm not too keen on the gloss for this one so I just use a normal gloss but not too much as for me it spoils it. This shade is perfect for a subtle day time look and here is what it looks like on me:

Review: George (ASDA) Nail polish

Hey Guys,

So I have another review and this time it's Nail Polish.

I've never bought nail polish from Asda but stopping by the cosmetics section I just had to buy some as they actually have some pretty cool and cute colours.

I thought what with them being cheap they might not be good quality but as the saying goes "Never judge a book by the cover"

I was actually amazed at how good the quality is and for £1.75 you really can't go wrong!


Anyways the colours I got were:

Princess pink 

No Excuses



I have to admit the only thing I found with these colours is that 1 coat is not enough. It took me 3 coats to get the right shade but I guess it varies on each on of you girlies :)
And the bonus is, is that it only takes a couple mins to dry to and so far I have had no chips which is a bonus :)

So overall I would definitely recommend you girlies to go and grab some :)
